Champagne Ridge, Saikeri and Bisil are areas of Kajiado County 45 minutes to an hour and a half from Nairobi — slowly developing, with affordable land prices and great opportunities for holiday homes. From the sweeping plains of Bisil to the escarpments of Champagne Ridge, the area offers a peaceful countryside lifestyle known for its open spaces, Rift Valley views and cooler climate.
Saikeri and Champagne Ridge are popular for holiday homes and weekend getaways, while Bisil is becoming an ‘out of town’ residential area, with people commuting to the city a few times a week. Tourism, farming and agriculture are the key industries.
Closer to the city, the plots off Maasai Lodge Road and at Tuala sit on the edge of Nairobi National Park, with views over the park and the Mbagathi River. To the east, Maanzoni is a savannah in the heart of Lukenya with amazing birdlife and wildlife, 45 minutes to an hour out of Nairobi on the Mombasa highway, beside the fast-growing Athi River corridor.
